Remorseful Farewell

Back when I first played through Fire Emblem Rekka no Ken, before I finished the game and saw the ending, I imagined a scene of Eliwood putting Ninian's remains to rest in a water temple built by the dragons to show respect for what she was, a scene somewhat inspired by Final Fantasy VII I'll admit.

I am extremely proud of how this turned out. This is my first full drawing that has a real background colored completely in photoshop. Normally I do quick abstract backgrounds. The drawing has over a dozen of layers and uses a lot of Adobe photoshop 7's filter effects such as ripple and different textures.
